20 – 25 volunteers work each day in the Dining Hall in St KIlda to:

  • Prepare the food
  • Cook the meals
  • Serve customers
  • Clean up (dishes/tables)
  • Smile and chat to lonely people


There are also many people who Volunteer in SHM Op Shops. They help with:

  • Stocking goods
  • Serving customers
  • Accepting donations
  • Customers’ questions
